1peter 5:2-4
Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, serving as overseers—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
For those who find it hard to understand or don't know how to apply it, here is a easier explanation:
Whenever you are serving, let us keep this in our heart, 'Feed the flock of God'. Care for it willingly, not grudgingly, not for what you'll get out of it, but because you are eager to serve the Lord. Don't be tyrants but lead them by Your good example. And when the head shepherd comes, your reward will e a never-ending share in His glory and Honor.
